Today Kitty has dance, and then we're going to check out a plant sale/veggie stand at a local farm. I'm probably not going to buy any plants because the drought is still going gangbusters here and I can't even remember to water a couple potted plants. I think both my potted sweet olives are dead. I'll try again in a couple of years when a) the kids are older and more independent and b) we've done something to make the backyard more hospitable so we spend more time out there.
But we will also be able to wander on the farm, and Kitty and I have been reading Charlotte's Web together, and I think there are piggies to see.
Then we need to go to Home Depot for mulch and lawn bags, because a guy is coming over tomorrow to mow the weeds down on the dead lawn, and I want him to mulch the front beds while he's at it if there is time. I need to make a list of things I want him to do. He's going to be here for 5 hours.
